This necklace features an amazing double-sided vintage Mardi Gras doubloon dating back to 1969. A tiny matching fleur de lis hangs along with this cool doubloon. Today doubloons made of plastic or aluminum are thrown from floats during Mardi Gras. At one time these vintage heavy guage doubloons were not thrown, but handed out due to their weight. This medallion has great detail and is the perfect conversation piece!
