This necklace features an amazing double-sided vintage doubloon from the Krewe of Carrollton dating back to 1970. Today doubloons made of plastic or aluminum are thrown from floats during Mardi Gras. At one time these heavy guage doubloons were not thrown, but handed out due to their weight. This medallion has great detail and is the perfect conversation piece!
