This necklace features an amazing vintage Mardi Gras doubloon dating back to 1969. Today doubloons are thrown from floats during Mardi Gras parades. At one time these heavy guage doubloons were not thrown, but handed out due to their weight. This medallion has great detail and a little squirrel on the front! This double-sided necklace is the perfect conversation piece!
